*For clients who own a business, additional fees may apply due to the complexities of business succession planning, depending on each client's unique needs and circumstances.

At Faithful Stewardship Law Firm, we focus exclusively on uncontested probate matters, helping families navigate the process with confidence and peace of mind. From the beginning, we take the time to understand your unique circumstances, explain the probate options available to you, and provide transparent guidance so you know what to expect every step of the way.

Our primary goal is to help families plan ahead so that guardianship is never needed. Guardianship is a last resort because it removes a person’s legal rights and places them under the authority of a court-supervised guardian. It is only allowed when all other alternatives have been exhausted, and the court determines that no less restrictive option will work.

A Guardian of the Person controls medical and living decisions; a Guardian of the Estate manages finances under strict court oversight.

Crisis Planning helps families facing nursing home care within the next five years understand their Medicaid planning options and make informed decisions about protecting their financial resources. Depending on individual circumstances, this approach may help preserve a portion of a person’s assets, often approximately 50%.

For families planning more than five years ahead, an Irrevocable Benefits Trust offers a proactive approach to preparing for future nursing home care. When properly established and funded at least five years before applying for Medicaid, this strategy can generally preserve 100% of the assets transferred into the trust from being spent on long-term care costs, provided applicable Medicaid requirements are satisfied.

Our small, efficient team allows us to offer significant discounts and affordable flat-fee pricing for uncontested probate matters without compromising the personal attention and care each family deserves. However, contested cases often require the additional resources and staffing of a larger firm, which is why we do not handle these matters on an ongoing basis. If an unexpected dispute arises, any legal work required until separate counsel assumes representation will be billed at an hourly rate. Our goal is to remain transparent about these limitations and any potential changes in fees so families can make informed decisions with confidence.

Estate tax planning is about more than the value of your estate today. While many families may currently fall below the federal estate tax exemption, future growth in growth and changes in tax laws could make estate taxes a concern. At Faithful Stewardship Law Firm, we help families thoughtfully evaluate their circumstances and explore strategies that may reduce future estate tax obligations while honoring their financial goals, family priorities, and values. Because every family’s situation is unique, we invite you to schedule a complimentary consultation to discuss which planning strategies may be appropriate for you.

The Estate Planning Process:

Design
Meeting

We begin with a comprehensive design meeting to understand your family, your values, and your goals. Together, we build your legal strategy. The first half of the flat fee is due at the conclusion of this meeting.

Drafting & Delivery

Our firm carefully prepares your customized estate planning documents and delivers your Review Copy. The remaining half of the flat fee (subject to any Early Action Discount) is due upon delivery of your drafts.

Review & Revisions

You’ll have time to thoughtfully review your documents and provide feedback. We make any requested revisions to ensure your plan reflects your wishes with precision.

Final
Delivery

We provide your final, execution-ready documents incorporating all approved changes.

Signing Ceremony

To complete the process, we host a signing ceremony at no additional cost, provided it is scheduled within a reasonable timeframe. This ensures everything is properly executed and legally effective — giving you lasting peace of mind.

Probate Procedures:

At Faithful Stewardship Law Firm, we focus exclusively on uncontested probate matters so families can move forward with peace. If a contest/dispute unexpectedly arises, those matters are handled separately and billed at an hourly rate.

Every probate case is structured with transparency from the very beginning.

Our fees are divided into clear phases:

Because each probate matter varies in complexity, the percentage allocation differs depending on the type of probate involved. We explain everything upfront so you know exactly what to expect — no surprises, just steady guidance through each step of the process.
